Female Runners on DM Women’s Running Festival in Ljubljana
On last Saturday in May we saw 8000 female runners in the capital of Slovenia, specifically in Tivoli City Park and through the streets of Ljubljana. It was 10th DM Women’s Running Festival.
For this year the official color was pink, so we could see 8000 female runners in pink sport shirts. It was real holiday for the women’s runners. Female participants of the largest women’s running festival also this year, were able to choose between 5 and 10 km long route. The start was at 10 o’clock in Tivoli City Park.
Warm up for runners was carried out by instructors who have tracked dm-runner’s, since their preparations for the run. Fun exercises with instructors to the sounds of samba are warmed up even the most sleepy female runners.
Female runners on the 10 km route from the Tivoli City Park, in jogging style went slowly to the Triple Bridge, where was the official start of this distance.
For the female runners on 5 km the time has started to measure from the Tivoli City Park, which was the official start of this distance.
